My Message: Brain tumor awareness is a growing issue that needs to be addressed immediately; there are over 120 different types of brain tumors, making search for a cure extremely difficult. As a child growing up, my mother's brain tumor had a considerable impact on my family. However, it was among the aforementioned difficulties that we found strength, and the beauty in every obstacle that was posed along the way. As the daughter of a brain tumor survivor, I support those that are in similar situations, understanding the overwhelming journey waiting ahead. I walk for my mom, WHO DO YOU WALK FOR?
Project X Movement: We are part of the movement to end brain tumours and we hope you will join us in this Canada-wide effort to put a stop to this disease.
By signing up for a 2018 Brain Tumour Walk, Project X is making a commitment to end brain tumours and to help provide the essential information and support that every person diagnosed deserves.
All money raised through Brain Tumour Walk events strengthens the national movement to end this life-changing disease and brings hope to individuals and families across the country:
Hope for progress in discovering the cause of brain tumours.
Hope for better treatments for every child and adult diagnosed.
And most of all, the hope for a cure!
Thank you for supporting Project X, and more importantly, for helping the 55,000 Canadians who live with a brain tumour today.
Share this video to encourage family and friends to support you.
The current total amount raised for the Brampton Brain Tumour Walk is $93,422.00
